If generally you use Word with large documents, most probably sometimes (often) you have to reorganize your documents’ content. In Word 2007 you have two options:
- Select the content you want to move, copy or cut it, then paste to the new place. If you need to move large contents (a lot of pages) keeping the control can be… how to say… mission impossible…
- In Outline view, you can do the same, with more comfort on the on one hand, but I for one, don’t like this view. Maybe there is something wrong with me, but using the Outline view is really uncomfortable for me…
Moreover, during reorganizing the document, I’d like to see the new structure immediately. Word 2010 helps me in that, as the new Navigation Pane is interactive! You can Drag&Drop headers, insert new ones or delete some of them, etc. I don’t know how you’ll like it, but it’s live-saver for me.
