Last year, we created worked with AS&K Skylight on a project for Yaz. The goal was to produce a Kinect application to be used at a pharmaceutical exhibition, showcasing the advanced, futuristic technology behind the Yaz product line. AS&K created the graphics design, and my company, Response worked on the interaction design and application code.
The Kinect Quiz application that resulted was a huge success. The novelty and cool factor of the Kinect interface attracted tons of people to the Yaz booth, and many scored high enough to receive a gift from the hostesses. Here is a video of the Kinect Quiz application in action:
The interesting part of the app is that it not only has a professional look, but it goes beyond basic “select an answer” quiz: it includes multiple answer questions, reordering lists and matching questions and answers.
The application is created in a way that allows us to quickly change the graphics and the questions, thus adopt the quiz engine to any other brand. The Kinect Quiz application is ideal for both showroom and exhibition scenarios.
