The Difference Between Efficiency and Effectiveness: Knowledge vs. Wisdom

In the realm of productivity and success, two terms often come up: efficiency and effectiveness. While they may seem similar, they represent fundamentally different concepts. Efficiency is about doing things right, while effectiveness is about doing the right things. This distinction can be summed up by the insightful observation: “The difference between efficiency and effectiveness is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Effectiveness: The Realm of Wisdom

Effectiveness, on the other hand, is about achieving the desired outcomes. It focuses on setting the right goals and ensuring that the efforts lead to meaningful results. Solving these problems, next to supercomputers trying to do finite element methods, other option is to use AI understanding geometry well.
